I seem to have lost a CF card--which equals about 650 photos that are just gone.  I'm totally heartbroken.  I have nothing of Xi'an.  Not one photo. :(  I'm not all ripped up about the Terra Cotta Warriors, but I shot hundreds of photos of the countryside/tiny towns--albiet from a fast moving vehicle.  I was at least hoping a few of them would have

Dude, I bought an external hard drive specifically to back up my cards and then didn't back up my cards. Talk about being utterly mortified at one self.

Trip was great. I'll slowly write about the better points. It blew my mind. I mean, every second I was awake blew my mind in a way I didn't think was possible. I really would love if you could figure out how to get yourself there. It has completely changed everything I thought I knew was true and I know I just barely scratched the surface.
