I'm very tired of working on the China photos and not have gotten past the Forbidden City yet.  :(   That's right.  I'm still working on our second day there.  I am almost gleeful that I am missing a CF card at this point because I wouldn't be done for years at the pace I'm going.

I think that's my only doorway shot in my entire trip that doesn't have a person in it. It was almost impossible to try to photograph anything in China ANYWHERE without someone walking into your shot. Too many people. :)

ETA: Also the last, B&W. Looks like a bonsai -- only not in miniature.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Must admit to being especially partial to the cobblestone and lion/streetfood cart(?), and temple shots; love the intense clarity of detail you've captured in everyday objects (albeit in China!) we don't often really notice anymore. Keep 'em coming!!! xxoo, c

The streetfood cart is actually where people go to burn their incense and pray. The smoke coming off of it is a megaton of joss sticks. It as almost nauseating, the air was so perfumed.
