Beijing. Almost all of it.

Got some more China photos done and uploaded.  I'm basically done with Beijing...almost.

Didn't get a lot of good shots of it.

On the right is one of the public toilets of this hutong.  Many "apartments" do not have their own bathroom and so a communal one is used.  You could always tell when you were coming on to a public restroom in a hutong blocks before you actually reached it.  I have never, ever smelled anything like it in my life.  It was actually part of the fun of walking around.  You are going about your business and suddenly, the most foul stench would almost knock you on your ass.

This photo was actually taken when we were in a rickshaw.  Unfortunately, none of the other photos I took inside the rickshaw came out because of the blur and because I was too short.  I think nathan got some good ones.  It was cold and rainy.

We really lucked out on the weather.  Beijing is often filled with polution and everything has a thick, brown haze.  We experienecd that most of the days we were there.  But on the most important day?  The day we were let loose on our own to explore and also our anniversary?  Absolutely clear and beautiful.  It was amazing.

Also, because I'm not sure how else to do this:
