Dean showed up at the house bright and early so Dad and Zoe could get a prompt start to their anniversary trip. He wasn't sure where they were going, but his Dad was wearing the kind of happy, contented expression that Dean only had vague early morning childhood memories of before the last year had seen its reappearance. It just drove home for Dean

It didn't seem like it had been a whole year since Dad and Zoe's wedding. Sam was glad they were going off to have some time together, and he was pretty sure Grace wouldn't mind either by the time Dean was done spoiling her. "Did I hear the word 'cookie'?" he asked as he came into the house.

"Yeah," Dean called out from the kitchen. "But only for those of us who were'nt lazy and got here on time."

"Hey, I'm not that late," Sam said. "I got distracted this morning, I'm sorry."

"Hey I'm supposed to be the brother obsessed with sex, not you," Dean pointed out, assuming since there was no bunny with Sammy that that would be what the distraction was.
