The room was looking pretty bare as Dean worked on finishing up the last of his packing. There were two piles: the duffles he was taking with him, and the last load of stuff in boxes he was leaving down at the house in town.

Claire made her way up to the fourth floor and stood in the doorway, frowning.

"I don't like this part."

"Oh, don't worry, I will," Claire said. "Especially if it involves keeping Peter safe."

She smiled. "And if there's ever anything I can do to help you, let me know."

"I will. That's one of the best things about Fandom -- you end up with a whole boatload of people who will back you up no matter how weird the situation." He smiled. "They should put that in the brochures."

"They really should," she agreed, going to give him a hug.

Dean hugged her back tightly. "Take care of yourself. Just because you can heal from anything doesn't mean you shouldn't try to avoid getting hurt."

"I'll do my best," Claire promised. "Keep in touch, okay?"
