Dean drove straight through from leaving Fandom, stopping only to refuel and grab coffee. It was late afternoon when he pulled the impala into the Bobby's yard. He turned the engine off and sat there for a minute, before getting out and heading up to knock on the door.
Alec had heard the Impala drive up, so when the door knocked, he was there to answer it with a smirk and a warm look in his eyes. "Took you long enough."
"Yeah, well that's what happens when you drive and don't take portals," Dean said, grinning widely at him.
Stepping back to give him room, Alec grinned back. "Yeah? How long you been awake so far, then?"
"I stopped counting when I got to 24 hours," Dean said, stepping inside. "I've had enough coffee I should be vibrating." He truthfully wasn't feeling the weariness at that moment; caffiene and adrenaline at finally being here keeping it at bay.
"Hungry? Bobby made spaghetti last night - still have some in the fridge." Alec pulled the door closed, keeping his eyes on Dean as though the other might disappear from a lack of attention.
"You know me, I can always eat. But first..." Dean stepped into Alec's space, pushing him back against the door and kissed him.
He kissed back, grin widening even as he wound his arms around Dean and stroked down his back, pulling him even closer. No objections here!
Dean grinned widely and kissed him again. "Been thinking about doing that since I left Fandom. Guess I kinda missed you."
Alec sighed contentedly and pursued Dean's mouth as he pulled back, for yet another kiss. "Yeah, me too. Been thinking about that since a long time before you left Fandom though."
"Been thinking about doing a lot of other stuff with you too," Dean said inbetween more kissing. "The kinda stuff that Bobby wouldn't appreciate us doing in his living room."
"If he walks in on it," Alec pointed out with a mischievous grin. "What he doesn't know, he can't punish you for."
Dean chuckled. "You haven't changed," he said fondly, following this observation up with more involved kissing. "If he does walk in, I'm blaming you."
"He'd believe you," Alec said, snickering as he wiggled provocatively against Dean. "Pretty much everything goes wrong is my fault." But he said it with amusement, Bobby's grumbling bemusement obviously rolling off the transgenic's back like a duck with water.
"I think he's happiest when he has something to grumble about," Dean observed, sliding his hands down Alec's back and then back up under his shirt. "Which means you probably make him gleeful."
"Pretty much," Alec agreed. He sighed at the feel of Dean's hands on his skin, eyes drifting half-closed. So encouraged, his hands slipped down and beneath Dean's shirt to play along the top of his jeans, moving slowly toward the front. "Man, it's been too long. Town's like fifty million miles away and half of it's old people."
"You mean you've actually had to be celibate?" Dean teased. "The horror!" He stroked his hands up and down Alec's spine, loving the way he could feel muscles tense in reaction under the skin. "Guess we'll have to see what we can do to fix that."
There were certainly worse ways to begin his post Fandom life.
[ooc: So, knowing I was going to a con Thursday and all, I had the foresight to preplay Dean's immediate post Fandom activities. I hadn't planned on not being able to get my computer to connect to the internet in my hotel room, or exactly how busy I was going to be with con squee. So this scene is actually set late Thursday, Aug 27th; pretend it got caught in a portal in the meantime. Preplayed with the ever brilliant
