Dean paused in his digging for a moment to wipe the sweat off his face. "Man, I hate digging. One of these days, we're going to have to come up with an easier way to get to the bodies."

"Bulldozers rent by the hour," Alec put in, effortlessly heaving another shovelful over his shoulder and onto the pile beside the grave.

"Yeah because driving a bulldozer into a cemetary after dark isn't at all suspicious," Dean observed, leaning on his shovel as he watched Alec continue to dig.

"Hire some homeless guys," he offered, now grinning as he shoveled. "Pay 'em a few bucks, we finish a whole lot quicker."

Dean actually briefly considered that, before shaking his head, still leaning on his shovel. "Never can tell when some ghost is going to get all proactive in trying to stop us. That's a lot easier to handle when we don't have homeless civilians in the way." He wondered how long Alec was going to let him get away with just watching.
