Dean leaned back against the wall and watched as Alec took his turn. He was always appreciative of Alec when he watched him play, even when they were playing each other. Alec's grin was blinding, both cheerful and smug, and he straightened from his shot to turn it from Dean to the two wannabe bikers in too-shiny leathers.

"Tell me whenever you're done, gentlemen. I can keep going all night." He took a gulp of the drink he had sitting on the nearby table before bending to another shot, this time taking a ball across the table and back, then colliding with another ball before slipping almost delicately into the corner pocket.

"He can, y'know," Dean put in, cheerfully. "I can vouch for that."

That caused the frowns drunk and drunker were wearing to take on a slightly puzzled cast, which just made Dean grin all the wider. People tended to naturally assume he and Alec were twins when they saw them together so when they started throwing double entendres at each other they got reactions ranging from puzzled to shocked to disgusted. Dean found it funny as hell.

"Hey now, if one of them bursts a vessel in their brain, I'll feel at least partly responsible," Alec chided, sighting down his que at his next shot.

"Yeah, that's always kinda messy," Dean admitted, as if causing people to stroke out was something they did on a regular basis. He took another swig of his beer as Alec sank another ball.

"Hey did I tell you about running into Cas at the Perk when we were on the island?"
