Not boring at all, actually, I promise. :-)

I was born at 30 weeks, which was dicey back then -- I had lung issues -- but today 30 weeks is easy-peasy. And, yeah, 24 weeks = viability. Which is pretty wild.

Be gentle with yourself. Cut yourself plenty of slack. You are growing a human from the bottom up; it is exhausting and awesome and overwhelming.

There's no way to imagine what it's going to be like later. (Especially since "what it's going to be like later" is going to change approximately every time you get used to it, anyway. *g*) I'd say, if you can, try not to even worry about it! It's survivable, whatever it is, and eventually you get a little person who runs and yells and climbs things and laughs when you imitate them. It's pretty cool. :-)

For me, I don't think the reality of BABY really hit until.... well, *after* she was born. Maybe when we took her home at 2 days old, and I kind of thought, "You're sending home with this baby when I don't have the faintest foggiest idea what to do?" Yeah. But then it's just one foot in front of the other, doing what had to be done..... and when I emerged from the other side of that, I felt more like a Mother.

I hope the third trimester goes as smoothly as the second!! (I'm so excited for you - really.)
