Ok, so here's the story: somewhere along the line, I lost Anna's phone number. Anna, as you well know, has pretty much served as the link between myself and you group of crazy fuckers--thus, any severing of my connection with Anna meant losing contact with all of you. However, by the time I realized this, I didn't have time to be sorting out my social life--I had voyages to Canada and El Salvador planned, as well as grad school applications to complete. So I drove up the coast into Canada, drove back, hung around for a little bit, and then flew into El Salvador where I've been for the last five weeks. Somewhere in between I managed to finish my apps. Now I'm back, complete with intestinal parasites, and I have nothing but time on my hands. On one of my many trips to the toilet today (I really should take care of those parasites...) I came to the conclusion that I really should make an effort to get ahold of y'all.
