Hay guys,

What web hosting service/registrar do you use? Why?

Cheap and reliable are the words here, the latter stressed more than the former. I don't need anything fancy, and a relatively small amount of transfer / storage space by today's standards is fine.

I use my friend Will's old west virginia server he hooked me up with more then a decade ago on elb.net. I use it for email all of the time (dthomas@there), and ftp or cheap webhosting.

I really should email him again and thank him for letting me have that webspace... I got it like a decade ago and I have talked to him maybe 3 times since then. And by talk I mean email.

I use iPowerweb, just like Jibs. It rules.

Oh, and I use Dotster for registering domain names, but that was just because at the time it was cheap. I'm sure you could find better ones now (including iPowerweb).
