Have you tried doing one load a day? It's a slow process, but it works eventually...with little pressure.

yeah, i wish i could do that. i suppose with discipline i could. i'm just an all or nothing extremist so when i do it i'll do every last piece of dirty clothes as quickly as humanly possible. but it's a good idea to try to force myself to be satisfied with one load at a time.
