Dear Yuletide Writer!
Hello, and thank you for being my author! This is my first time participating in Yuletide after a couple years peering in from outside, so to speak. Exciting times.
A couple basics about me- plus I’m on tumblr if you want to flip through.
Likes: friends to lovers, fake dating! It’s-obvious-we-should-get-together-and-everyone-but-us-knows-it! Complete opposites attracted to each other! With football especially I’m deeply invested in the concept of club loyalty and how it affects how players see themselves/each other, if you’re into that. AUs of all kinds- coffee shop, apocalypse, we’re-in-space-now, pretty much any AU you can imagine, I’ll love it. I like seeing how characters act thrown into different situations. Speaking of characters- I love a good character study so if you prefer writing them to plotty fics go for it!
Content-wise, anything from gen to smut suits me fine. Whatever you’re comfortable with.

Ever since they got voted best bromance in that one video that came out a while ago I’ve just been so intrigued by these two. Since they apparently go everywhere together, where do they go? What do they talk about? An AU scenario would also be interesting, how did they meet? Why did they click so well? There’s just so much potential to the dynamic of go-getter, charge-ahead Flams and more reserved Mesut.
Real Madrid: Raúl González , José María Gutiérrez, Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos
Ships: Raúl/Guti, Iker/Sergio
With this one, if you want to just write one of the pairings feel free to leave the other out. Or if you want to write gen with a combo of the characters, go for it! One of the big reasons I like these four is because there’s so much to work with: the parallels between the sets of captains/vice-captains, the idea of a legacy, Iker’s departure and Sergio getting the armband...and so on and so forth. And if the heavy and thematic is not your cup of tea, I’m also deeply devoted to any and all of them so fluffier fare (AU or otherwise) would warm my cold bitter heart. If you’re into it, one of my favourite tropes is future fic. Will our heroes ever be reunited at Real Madrid? As managers or co-managers or what-have-you. Again, I like them paired up as above, but if gen is more your speed, I welcome it!

I was Hetalia trash back in The Day (I say, as if I’m not secretly still into it), so this is a concept that I fell deeply, deeply in love with and honestly anything you want to write about would be amazing. How do these personifications work? How do they interact with each other/players/managers? Is their existence common knowledge or do they only reveal themselves to certain people? Do they fight each other or what? How to classic club rivalries play into it? Tell me about this world! I’m obsessed with it.
Alternatively if you want to say screw world building and just write about badass club personifications fighting/going out to dinner/banging then please be my guest! :D
German National Team: Michael Ballack, Philipp Lahm
Micha was my first favourite footballer back in 2006, and then during WC2010 Philipp became my fave. Hahah, Micha, suffer usurpation both irl and from the throne of my heart! Incredible. Anyways, the whole situation fascinates me: Fips the dark horse conniver stealing the crown. And then being so effective with it. I’d love to see an exploration of their relationship, during WC2010 or in the present day or whenever you so please! Have they talked since Fips retired? Will they ever? You can go either gen with this or pair them up -hatesex, anyone?- I’m into it either way.
One the other hand, if you don't want to include both of them and would rather go with a character-centric genfic or the like about just one, go for it! I love them both so much, you could write a fic solely about Micha going to the supermarket and I'd have ~feelings about it, I really would.
13th Century Russia: Onfim, Danilo

I love history, and little things like this completely catch my imagination. Who were Onfim and Danilo? What did they do after lessons? What kind of shenanigans did they get up to? If you want to write them older, did they grow up to be important people? Did Onfim become a warrior? Did he and Danilo still send each other stick figure doodles through ye olde Russian post?
Put as much or as little historical detail in as you want, I mostly just like the idea of these two (and on that note, whether you want to ship them or not is completely up to you, dear author).

All of the prompt-y things I've provided are just in case you're a person who likes jumpstarter ideas. If you came in with an idea for a story already raring to go, don't worry if it's completely different than anything I've played around with (although please do keep my do not wants in mind).
