to pay or not to pay....

hey, i'm trying to decide whether or not to get a paid account....any thoughts?

people with paid accounts, do you think it's worth it now that you've done it? what made you do it? why should i do it?

people with free accounts, why don't you have one? why shouldn't i get one?

come on people, help me decide :)

eh, it's $25 a year, you get more icons, you get to use the faster servers, and you probably get some other crap i don't use. for the cheap-o price, i think it's worth it.

I don't have one because I don't care for all of the random extra features. I don't feel like the servers have been slow in a LONG time. However, I'd like more user pics. That's really the only reason I'd get one. I don't care about customization, styles, etc. No need to give me MORE excuses to waste more time on livejournal. If I could buy something that would cause me to spend less time on the site, I would.

the servers don't seem faster.
i only use three pics anyhow.

the only cool thing is that my layout is a little prettier to look at, but the fact is i only read my friends page anyhow.

waste of money to me at this point. i won't be rejoining likely.
