So it has recently come to my attention that I am COMPLETELY wasting my time in college. Maybe it's just how I feel today, but I'm pretty sure that this feeling is going to last for a very long time. If I have learned anything in the past year, it is that not everyone needs to get their doctorate, not everyone needs to get their masters, and not everyone needs to go to college. Mapping out the future isn't the important thing if you don't want to live in a future you plan for yourself. You should follow what makes you happy.

That being said I have to say these cold facts:

If you ever have a job that wants you to get a bachelor's, you will have to go back to school and will have wasted the past two years of your life because you'll have to take the courses again.

Teaching jobs amongst K-12 are not difficult to run into, but teaching jobs in college are much more difficult. If you wanted to teach K-12 you probably have a very good shot of getting a job.

And then I want to say something Marilyn vos Savant once said (paraphrased):

Everyone's life is worth living as long as they produce something- no matter how "small" of an addition it is.

Good luck <3
