It seems fitting that since Twilight fanfiction has occupied a great amount of my time this year, and in some very strange ways has had a strong impact on my life, that I should memorialize some of my favorite stories here.

I have a hard time explaining fanfiction, particularly since most of the stories I like are All Human/Alternate Universe

yay!! i have to agree with you on all of these except the last 2 (since i've never read 'frenemies' or 'the trip home'.) we so have similar taste in fic.
on a side note, i'm hella envious you got your hubby to read 'the sub'. i need to see if i can coerce mine to do the same!! <3

You are SO My fanfic twin! So many of the ones I love came from you :) When I finish this list you will see more crossover.

Man, the best thing I EVER did was convince hubby to read THe Sub. He is reading The Dom now too, and it has totally spiced up our love life. In a wonderful way! And of course he had never read twilight and it made no difference. Do it. :)
