Ooh, I think that sounds great! I really like plumeria, too, and am still growing a plant I got in Maui a couple of years ago. But I'm still waiting for the darn thing to bloom! (I killed the second plant I had). I hope you are able to do what you want!

Oh, you and your smells! I love this idea, so perfect. I know how fond you are of the plant, do it DO IT!! And I really don't think an artist would turn down a job....there is artistic relevance in all works, not just the big pieces.

i wouldn't feel silly when an instructor comments about your om symbol. tattoos are supposed to be personal and meaningful to the owner, and since it's special to you, that's all that matters! yoga has been popular for a very long time.. my mom used to do yoga when she was pregnant with me and lord knows that was more than 10 years ago! it has been around for thousands of years and you don't have to be hindu in order to practice it. just like you don't have to be an expert in yoga to have a meaningful symbol or word in any language, no matter what your spiritual, religious, educational background, or native language. :) you should see how many people look at pete funny when they see his chinese tattoo... he's definitely not chinese! it's a great conversation starter. :)
