Wow! Just wow! This was fantastic. I loved the dynamic between Jim and Bones before and after Jim became a werewolf. Loved how even though Jim had been bitten by an alpha male, he still had his own pack, his connection and feelings for Bones. Loved how together they were going to find a way for the wolf to learn to accept Bones without harming him.

Loved all the ancient, old-fashioned medicine you wove throughout the piece.

Likewise, you don't know how happy it makes me knowing someone would like more of it! It's funny, because I generally don't write or read AUs but... I really got into this one! There's a whole lot built into this for sequels to ride on, a lot of unanswered questions and identities.

I have to admit, I'm not always a fan of AU stories, but with this you got me hook, line, and sinker. I love how even though it's an AU both Jim and Bones have characteristics that we're familiar with. Plus, the vampire and werewolf angle of the story doesn't hurt either, since I'm into those kinds of stories anyway. Are you going to write more of this? I'd love to read more and find out what happens next!

There will be more of this, I've already started on the sequel! There's lots of unanswered questions and plot that need to be fufilled!

Oh, very nice! Love the 'historical' feeling, the magic mixed with Bones' knowledge of medicine, anatomy, and physiology. Really liked the slow realization of how much Jim means to him.

I also want to know more about the vampires Jim was hunter, his teacher, the other werewolves, etc.

So, basically you left me with lots of questions that I'd love to see answered! Not to mention that I'd really like to see some Jim and Bones lovin'. :D

Thank you! I wanted to leave it strong enough to sit on its own as a fic and with enough to make people wonder enough for a sequel. There will be more, already starting on it!

I wanted it to be a vague 'historical' feeling without being set anywhere specific, so I'm glad you like that.

I really like this werewolf setup, that Jim is not aware of his human self as wolf and that Bones and the wolf have such a rocky start.
