This is a really fantastic story. The first part on the planet was so intense and nerve-wracking and heartbreaking that I had to take a break from reading because I was getting too anxious! (Which shows what a great job you did making the characters engaging and real)

I appreciate how you showed their relationship developing - both in the past, and in their current fumblings towards a closer relationship. I think you presented their misunderstandings in very realistic and non-contrived way, in a manner which was driven entirely by who they are and what they've experienced, not because you needed a dramatic plot device. And I loved how tender and funny they were with each other once they worked through the misunderstanding - you could really see how much they loved each other, even if neither of them said it out loud.

I really enjoyed reading y'all's story. The world of the Tuataran was fascinating and creative, as are the creatures. Excellent action and adventure. And a wonderful second half of Jim and Leonard trying to figure out all the changes happening between them. Sweet angst, comforting and commitment--a lovely, lovely story! Well done!

I loved this! Plotty, very TOS-y in the main setup, and I love your Uhura. Spock was also show-stealing in his appearances. And aw, such a sweet ending! H/c and some angst, with a happy ending! What more could I ask for?

Slowly catching up with bb - interesting story that has the focus both on the pairing development as well as on the very core idea of the Federation, being open to other cultures and develop in contact with them. Very realistic problem and development, interesting lizard species, and I liked the additional complications between Jim and Bones - I felt like slapping Bones in their first sex scene because he really should've waited until Jim was recovered again, but hey, emotionally compromised much *G*?

Glad about the solution and the happy ending :)
