Several dozen hallways, two libraries, three green rooms, and a sitting room which Jack was convinced contained something that had growled at him, he finally decided to make his way back towards the console room. It didn't surprise him to find the Doctor there. Everything else in the room however, did.
And for the moment, all thoughts of the possibly-infested sitting room disappeared from his head. "Where do you even keep all this stuff?"

"The drawers are bigger on the inside," he said. He picked up a set of thin metal rods that were constantly twisting around each other. "49th century weather vane. I forgot I had that. ...Why's it under 'p'?"
It was quite obvious why the drawers were such a mess.

Wading through the mess, he took a seat near the other man, inspecting the rods curiously for a few moments. "'P' for 'Poke your eye out'?" It was a legitimate guess, in his opinion; who knew if the drawers even had an actual filling system to begin with.
"Find anything interesting under 'c'?"

"'C'! Let's see what 'c' has." The Doctor slid over on his knees to a different drawer and began to dig through it. A few times something sharp poked him and he dug up a sword, tossing it to the side. "Cutlass," he muttered. Another poke and he pulled out a badge. "Cat pins! Uhm, hmm."
The Doctor held up a large ray gun. "Atmospherically locked temperature exchanging device."
