This is amazing! I love this, and I wish it were canon. The voices here are awesome, and I can actually see this scene playing out in my head. This is how I wished it had happened.

You really do need to continue to correct canon, because this, I just adore. And I will use a happy icon with Rose in it for this reason - despite the fact that you made me cry!

Seconding the "should be canon" bit. This makes so much more sense than what happens in canon. It's much more Doctor, letting his companions go when they've found their right place, even though it hurts him.
