Oh god. Come off it. So many other people die from life threatening disease and your here bitching about rape. I know rape is bad. I lived through one but as a victim AND a survivor I know that it's not the end of the world. Ok convicting them was wrong and disgusting but come back down from your high horse. I moved on and realize people are SICK. It is the way humanity is and I have accepted that but now you have to think that their are people who haven’t been raped and are suffering worse ( ... )

True, I can spend time doing something to change an aspect of the world that can be changed, and I try to work on bettering such things in any way I can. That does not mean, however, that I cannot state my opinion on aspects of life that I can't change. I did not say that my goal was to end rape, because that's never going to happen. But if I feel strongly about something, I'm going to talk about it because that's how I feel. So what if I'm not helping anyone w/ my rants: all people have done worse w/ their time. So what if no one bloody listens to me: if they don't want to read, I wasn't writing to them.

If I don't make a difference in the world, it's not another’s place to care and it's not the world's place to moan that I'm not doing all that I can to change things that are being ignored. Maybe I'm not writing in my little journal about things I do actually do to help, but it doesn't mean that I'm not out there doing it. And yes, people can make a difference in most things, no matter how extremely large the world is. Each ( ... )
