Well.. here's the thing. It's not good that it has taken until now to declare Menezes innocent because he was already wrongly and brutally killed by police. It is good that Menezes is now known to be innocent because now his name is clear and society can look at how their police systems react in situations such as that which happened involving Menezes. Did you follow that? I know it was kind of conufsing, but that's how I feel.
