So, I was like, "ok, I'm gonna buy this other pre=amp with phantom power right now, can I bring back the cheap one I got today?" and they're like "hell yes, buy the more one and bring back the cheaps one." so, I tried to do it, and I didn't have enough moneys in the bank. gd it.
But yeah, rock. No, b won nothing, they wouldn't let him sign up when we got there. You had to pre=register.
You should have seen the rig Cam hauled to the festival with us. First he got a mini disc recorder. Then he decided he really liked his big old condensors so much better than the little mic that came with it that he decided it would be worth hauling them around. So then he needed to supply phantom to them, but getting a pre-amp just wasn't enough cause he likes to have lots of control so he bought a little mixer that can opperate on battery power (3 9volts gets you 4 hours) so he sold his other little mixer. Then he needed a mic stand that could get about the audience but would collapse small enough to fit in a backpack, so he built one out of a camera tripod thingie and a collapsable easle (how does he think up these things?) so it was ultra light, collapsed to pretty small, but was strop enough to hold his extremely heavy old mics. And since he didn't have windscreens for his mics (they are big flat-headed things) he made his mics wear socks, which was totally cute.
