If circumstances were impossible to bend, would you still fight against it? If fate was already written for you, how would you change it?

Finally... Would these actions be considered wise or foolish?

Speaking as someone who used to live in a world where your life was literally written out for you, I would simply not obey what is written, as my friends and I did.

Then you would go against fate? Even if those who tried before you had failed?

Yes, and in the end we succeeded, though not without our losses.

With that in mind, what would you do? How would you go about doing what no other person has done before?

I wouldn't give up. It's just not who I am.

Even if those around you already have, falling to being guided by the line of fate that is written before them?

That just means I have to work harder.

And if that still yields no results?

[Ffff Bumblebee wants to answer this so badly, so he's gonna fumble with the journal for like four days until he manages to activate the voice control and reply with a -surprise- a quote.]

"We may become the makers of our fate when we have ceased to pose as its prophets."

[Whoa, a quote after he stopped paying attention to the journal. The topic is still on his mind though, so he'll go to it.]

Then you don't believe that fate is already written for us? That we pave our own path?

[The next message is a scrambled mix-up of voices, so while it's more in Bee's own words, it'll sound very strange and may still be misinterpreted.]

If you believe- ...-ese things are pre-chosen for yourself, for everyo-... then it'll come true.

[...Weird.]

If we believe that fate is predetermined for us, then it'll become true. It would seem to be the safer route... To those who are satisfied with such a thing.

And what of those who have tried to change their fate, only to fail? Their motivation has left, beaten into the ground by countless unsuccessful attempts.

Believing that fate is already written is the first mistake.

Then you believe that it can be opposed?

Of course. ...I've seen it.

It's a very difficult battle and many sacrifices will be made along the way.

Sacrifices that one is willing to make?

[Written] broken_messiah August 1 2009, 09:04:52 UTC
... they are mostly sacrifices you are unwilling to make. And they greatly affect those around you.

Then would you rather make those sacrifices and change your life, or give in due to the nature of your choices?
