So, today I managed to do the math on raising tuition at North Shore. I realized that, existing on twenty-five dollars a week - barely enough for a tank of gas - I can raise one semester's fees and such in seven months. Not counting what I already have squirreled away - a paltry six hundred dollars.

paying for school is a pain. maybe your parents will contribute, or perhaps your eligible for some local scholarships?

You haven't been privy to the related arguments, but here's the short, Evie: I don't mind paying for school on my own. It gives it a value that it otherwise would not have for me.

And, considering I dropped out the first time, we see what effect "scholarships" and my parents' aid has on the value of my "education".

Plus, you missed the point of this entry, I think. It was just me wondering if I pressed myself into this deadline for myself, or for someone else.
