I'm turning 37 tomorrow. When I turned 36, I was kind of excited about it. 36 seemed like a good age, old enough to not do (too many) stupid things, young enough to still be (kind of) cool. I hope that 37 is much better for you than 36 was, but I'm glad they caught it all now. An early diagnosis of ovarian cancer is a lot like a little heart attack - it's horrible, but not having it probably would mean being dead in 10 years when the full-blown case hit you without warning.

I'm guessing you'll be particularly happy to celebrate the new year this year. Good riddance to 2010.

I know that 37 will be much better for you, and as you said, there *were* some good aspects to this year. Figuring out what you want to be when you grow up is HUGE! *I* still haven't figured it out and I've *got* a career!
