Getting Edumacated
In news other than the state of my reproductive system, I have been taking classes. I finally decided a couple of months ago to start pursuing a career in Art Therapy. In order to do that, I have to get certified. To get certified, I have to have a Master's degree. Family resemblance
It's a funny thing, the stuff we get from our parents. It seems like a genetic crapshoot, sometimes. For example, my sister looks much more like our mother and I take after our dad's side of the family. My sister is tall and slender, and I'm, well, neither of those things. (Thanks, Dad.) We are officially in trouble over here
Tommy is now actually reading. Like, practically overnight he started reading real, actual books. He obviously still needs help with a lot of words, but he knows a lot by sight already - ones that I didn't know he knew. Holy crap.
