A tribute to the Sunshine State, Barcelona, and morning dew fresh beginnings!

Every night I wake up and up again and again to a sweat soggy pillow, a fan that blows with lazy cigarette apathy and the thirst of dried lake beds.

There goes my complaint, NOW onto BIGGER AND BRIGHTER HORIZONS!!!

Matt and Katie came by which was a blast until Matt decided to implode. It's Saturday night in the village and yes I know what you're thinking and wanting to do. But you, good sir, have no ID and we, kind knight, don't quite care for that so why, bald frat-boy, did you care to continue? He pessimistically said that life was about having fun and that we should all just have a good time while we can. When I said that I was having a good time he shut up for a while (1-0) until we passed a hookah bar where he violently pushed us to have fun (2-0). The entire time Katie was apologizing for Matt's behavior and I told her no worries and we sat on the grass for a time discussing milkshakes, cuddle parties and other brash subjects like that (3-0).

Jobless again! My parents decide to visit me at work. We talk for a brief time outside. The details leading up to the elevated voices were insignificant, so I'll just play write the big part====

Tony: So they haven't paid you, Chelsea, or anyone?
Sam: Not for a while.
Tony: Alright, them not paying you for over a DAY is WAY too long for ANY sympathy.
Sam: I know, I get it, but-
Tony: No, Sam, It's completely illegal, immoral and fundamentally wrong. You're coming home with us RIGHT NOW.
Sam: But Jazmin needs my help closing.
Tony: With what? The five more hipsters who will come in within the next 90 minutes?
Sam: It's probably less than that.
Tony: Exactly, you're coming with me. If they can't even afford you, there's no reason for you being here.
Sam: Well, I just...Jazmin...
Tony: Sam, how long have they not paid you for?
Sam: Three weeks.
Tony: Yeah, you're coming with us. Jazmin will understand, go talk to her, but you're not working here any more.

That's the only time my father told me not to work and it was one of the most bizarre events to ever happen to me. At the same time it's was completely natural to leave the place, when I entered the car it felt as if I was just going about my normal day. When I left Rockets I felt weird for a while, probably because I was acting out of rage and heavy emotions. This was acted out of logic, finances and my father's iron encouragement. Hopefully I'll see the upwards of $900 they owe me, tomorrow begins my legal process of figuring that out. Jazmin was fine with it. She closed early, explained everything to the "owner" and is looking forward to getting crepes with Chelsea and I on a future date.

My favorite line of the weekend: "Are we going to be tanning at all today?" - Katie at 10 AM in Brooklyn -

- and immediately afterwords we got coffee and pancakes(!).

My father says this is the "Bar at the Edge of the World". The edge of the world, logically, being Red Hook in Brooklyn.
