In the world of competitive team sports everyone will tell you they put the team before their own ambitions or needs. But, it's no secret, every one of us still wants individual glory. Awards are overrated.

Of course, you're talking to someone who'd be handing them out all day every day if he could.

We always could name an MVP of the New Caprican Resistance, but that might start that us vs. them crap again.

Yeah, I think it best to put it all behind us. And if your people feel appreciated they don't need any special recognition.

If my people need some candy-ass award, then I'm not doing my job, am I? And if they don't feel appreciated, I'm really not doing my job.

Luckily, there aren't many of my people who need that level of hand-holding. Not that I wouldn't do it if they did, but we do have two or three better things to spend our time on.

I'm sort of glad you didn't go for that Resistance MVP, because I was being sarcastic.
