All the blood seems to have rather put people off. (Make it real-well, you know what I mean-human beings doing the horrifying things and all of a sudden nobody wants to read your fic.) A shame, because this is engrossing.

Know what you mean. I constantly pimp all of Sam's work and it breaks my heart to see his best stuff get the least attention.

Maybe because people don't want to hear about the atrocities humans can perpetrate. They'll howl when a couple of soldiers take naked pictures of captured terrorists, demanding their heads, but when it's these self-same terrorists who do things like in Mumbai, or like the LRA, they are silent. IF they say something, it's that it is all propaganda. WE are supposed to be better then THEM. Sorry, but that is a notion of civility, suited only for those in boardrooms.
