'The Seeker'
The Seeker (and I don't mean Harry!)
So, now another one of my favorite books comes to the big screen.
Ironically, I can see some of the HP fanatics screaming about the title... and that the writer might have taken a hint from JKR.
Let's hope, before they get too loud, that someone hands them a copy of 'The Dark is Rising'. They might find it surprising that the author is actually 72... and the widow of actor Hume Cronyn.
Also, the book has been published for 34 years!!!
And the 11 y/o in this book... his title is really 'Sign Seeker'!
I actually wonder if they'll go back and do the first book in the 5-book set... 'Over Sea, Under Stone'.
Personally, I think it'll be a good flick... even if they screwed up on the casting of Merriman Lyon. Cooper's physical description sounds more like a white-haired Snape... long hair, beaky nose, and an imposing presence!
Any retaliatory remarks will be taken in good humor.
Don't mind me... I've spent literally hours on end with a comp game growing plants, and my mind's gone to 'seed' :)
