I hope all goes well for you back east.

Funny how the season of joy and kindness to others brings so much stress and anxiety into our lives.

I'd like to cancel the whole thing. I have no joy of the season at all. I loathe being force-fed holiday cheer. And it is all forced; are you really feeling happier when you're jammed tits-to-elbows in a store for 2 hours to buy someone something? You know what I want for Christmas? I want things to be like they were back then, only for a day. I want to forget my terrors and stresses and have everything taken care of. I want the people I loved to be back so I can talk to them now. I want to reverse the decay of my city. I want to see everyone as they were when they were still together, when the families still celebrated and shared and put in effort. It all feels so empty, but I try so hard to make things work.

I want everything to stop. Everyone should get a day of peace.

Angels are found in the most peculiar places. One always prays for a child to teach and who will in turn teach them something about themselves. I find your words warming.

Remember the inspiration you received from the child, and may it be a herald in the new year towards greatness in life.

Respectfully,
