After much struggle, the lights came on in my neighborhood several days ago, but the internet took a couple more days. Now celebrating my second day of being able to use my own computer again ;-) This includes working on the newest chapter of Big Chicago as fast as I can, although I must warn that I've ben overworked just lately, so progress isn't ( Read more... )

Yay! We missed you. Glad to see your back and everything is getting sorted out. That must have been such hassle to deal with!

*tackles you* I'm thrilled that you're back!!!! Ug. I HATED the week we went without electricity in the aftermath of Hurricane Juan, so I totally know the crap you've been through. Have you restocked your fridge yet?? That was the happiest part for me ~ having a fully stocked fridge and the electricity to keep it from spoiling! Well, showering was pretty high up on my 'happy' list, too!

Anyway...I'm so happy to have you back in the land of slash. Take your time with 'Big Chicago'. Your audience isn't going anywhere. Just, you know, don't take TOO much time...*winks*

Oh thank heavens you're back. I'm normally not a worrier, but when I hadn't heard from you in so long I was convinced all sorts of terrible and horrible things had happened to you. At the very least, I suspected you might have been kidnapped by a crazed group of satanic gypsies...

5 days without internet service? Uh. My heart goes out to you. I was without for 2 days a few weeks ago, and even that short period of time had me in a near panic. Any longer and I'm sure hubby and I would have filed for divorce, citing 'Internet withdrawl induced insanity.'

So glad you're back, and not in the clutches of those freakin' gypsies...*hugs*

haha! I was beset by gypsies...I left them sexually exhausted and stole their violins. Yesterday was the worst. The long walk back from their campsite left me sore and tired, but I'm home, the internet is fixed...and it's time to drop a new chap of Echoes into the mix! Peaces, Samayel

Welcome back Sam!

I'm glad you are back home and the power is on. It happened to me last year in the winter for six days. Brrr. We heated rocks in the fireplace at night. --long story--- let's just say the kids will never forget it.

I wanted to thank you for letting us know about TSS. I have some chapters I need to update over there.

Wednesday just wasn't the same without you.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully being internet deprived gave you more time to write :) Selfish, I know.

BTW TSS still does not allow the author to respond to reviews. I hope the readers understand.

LOL...kinda. Still working on it. It may be awhile before I'm well sorted out for the near future, but I'm chipping away at things a bit at a time. Love and Hugs, S

I'm glad you're back, but I'm more glad your safe. (Since I moved to South Texas, I don't have the same reaction to thunderstorms that I did growing up in Joliet, but I still remember the violence of those northern storms, always scared of a tornado and/or hail, and how terrified I use to get.)

You escaped the wrath of Michigan winter and our famous seasonal thundershowers, but I hear South Texas is nothing but wet! You know its bad when they're finding El Chupacabra by the side of the road! Peace to you, and thanks...Sam
