I am unjustifiably annoyed with the person who has not yet returned the library book I want to borrow. The book was due Friday but hasn't been brought back in yet. As someone who has a dubious track record of returning books on time, I probably shouldn't point fingers. This doesn't stop me from harboring a low-level resentment. Clearly I have ( Read more... )

And I know I haven't said this near often enough, so thank you for dealing with the help emails. Seriously. I am a terrible, no good, very bad mod. You are awesome.

Thanks. I'm just taking my turn, though. I'll probably hand off duties to someone else before the baby arrives. It's not so bad for the most part. We had the misfortune of having that flamewar thingy and the plagiarism thingy happen in close proximity to each other, but for the most part the issues are minor questions about protocol or how to do something, or people not getting the emails with their passwords.

I sent a test message to the help email and it went through, so apparently people don't need any help lately. Or I've scared them away ;-).
