Jorie's four-month check-up was yesterday. In four months, nine days, she's more than doubled her birth weight and is now a whopping 15 lbs 13 oz. That puts her in the 85th percentile for weight. The best thing about Mothering is that there are no "right" answers. You are the one making the choices. Stay strong on that, while the Dr. has their opinion, the one that matters is the one you can live with every day.

As far as I can tell from the many readingsco-sleeping is fine as long as you lay off that nasty drug and drinking habit that I know you have. ;)

My mother was a believer in attachment parenting even before the term probably existed, so I have her support. Also, since she's worked as a perinatal nurse and lactation consultant, she can back up her statements with studies (of course, so can people arguing the opposite point). I read the links you include. All I can say is, thank goodness for Dr. Sears. He makes me feel a lot better about my parental choices.

Sometimes it's hard, though, to separate what you know rationally and emotionally from the little, niggling, fear-mongering voice whispering in your head.

About the intended CD tracks - some of them are good to belt, You Can Always Count On Me is towards the end, the middle of I Don't Know How To Love Him is great for belting. They're mostly just easy to listen to *grins* Now That I've Seen Her is also very belty and over-emotional.
