1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
joined a sorority, lived in a sorority house, got a real job, worked 75 hour weeks. lots of new things.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i didn't have one.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
not that i can think of.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
of course not.

5. What countries did you visit?
none this year

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
a BOYFRIEND.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
specific date? hmm. 1/8- tatyana's birthday in boston, 2/14- vday alone at home resolving not to rush a sorority, 2/18-first trip to alpha chi, 4/16- initiation, late june- night at tufts with becca, july - the summer at ccc & leonard morse, 8/20ish - trip to ithaca, 12/2 - 20th birthday and night that adam asked me to my date party, 12/3 - date party, 12/21-finished with school, etc etc. this wasn't a particularly eventful year.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
pledging, maybe, but it probably has to do with realizing that my opinions are ok.

9. What was your biggest failure?
probably has to do with boys, fucking up every good thing that comes my way. also, not doing as well this semester as i had hoped.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
me? never.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
kate spade bag, ae peacoat, Mean Girls on dvd,

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
my friends, both at school and at home. my parents, my sister to some extent, and one other certain person.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
becky and camp counselors, on liz's behalf; a few others that i shouldn't mention.

14. Where did most of your money go?
CLOTHES.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
boys that turned out to be useless.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
anything by coldplay, the garden state soundtrack, ashlee simpson, j-kwon -tipsy and usher-yeah (specifically those last two songs remind me of the first few weeks of spring semester and will always remind me of bil, hailey and delta upsilon.) and Lets Get Retarded (it started) because of 1/8/04 and fall rush.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? immeasurably happier.
II. thinner or fatter? definitely fatter.
III. richer or poorer? richer, i think.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
travelling.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
dwelling on people and events that dont matter or that i cant change, and also buying clothes i dont wear.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
i SPENT christmas with the fam.

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
of COURSE not.

23. How many one-night stands?
im no slut.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
The OC, without question.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
i dont hate anyone.

26. What was the best book you read?
the Da Vinci Code, without question.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
i rediscovered dispatch, and rap in general becuase i didnt appreciate it before 2004

28. What did you want and get?
a job at the sleep lab, a kate spade bag, that ae coat again, a vehicle during the summertime, wonderful friends at school.
The friends part is probably the most important.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Mean Girls, without question.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i was twenty. the night before i partied, the night of, i just hung out with friends. and cake at the work meeting.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
someone to love. ugh i sound so whiny and emo.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
"if its there and the roommies like it on me i will buy it, money is no object.
unless, of course its sneakers because i can NEVER find a pair i like.
Also, its important to have peacoats in three different colors."

34. What kept you sane?
knowing that i could always go home.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
That adorable boy who plays Seth Cohen on the OC.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
the election, of course.

37. Who did you miss?
tatyana. i miss tatyana a lot.

38. Who was the best new person that you met?
i met a lot of new people. maybe kyle?

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
home is a great place.
