I bought some hummous today
Because it ended up over all my other shopping. I thought it had been crushed in transit; but no. It was missing a lid.

That's right, folks - the date stamp for when the hummous goes off is stamped on the surface of the hummous itself. Shall we see what Mr Morrisons has to say about this, or for 69p am I too lazy to complain? I suspect the latter.
Other news from Sam's life: I've been playing with precious metal paste and leaves (next step:kiln!), 0.7mm enamled wire doesn't make good chain mail (boo!), and I'm not looking forwards to paying 3 months rent at once (although the landlord has not yet turned up tonight, so I suspect he won't). Apparently a man at the swimming pool asked Naziya if she wanted to dance in his club (she said no).
OK that last one isn't news from my life, but hey I have been having a slow weekend.
I did have a driving lesson. Apparently some of the clutch control I must have learned in the 3 lessons I had when I was 17 is still with me. Hurrah! I picked up Ernie's details when we both did the PG Cert WM, he is a consultant who is doing driving as a retirement side-earner. He is a top guy so I think lessons will be fun.
