Attention crocheters: how many skeins of yarn would it take to make a whole afghan?

Also, anyone know any good Quaker names? I'm hosed.

Hmm, well, it depends on the afghan and the yarn! The patterns in my croceht-afrghans books vary from about 6-20 skeins.

Oh, hmm, - you can check this site out: http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/afghans.php

Do Quakers have Puritanical names? LIke Purity, and Verity, and Ezra, and just plain Jonathan?

Off the top of my head I don't know any good quaker names, but I feel like Herman Melville came up with a few in that book he wrote, what was it called, something about a whale... (or were those shakers?)
