(no subject)
I've been meaning to post some pics of the recent snow.
It was the most pussy-ass snowstrom I've ever seen. It dumped all around us, and we got a couple inches all-told, but it didn't stick to the roads, and the next day it was GONE.
I did get a day off, although I had to work from home (downside to working for an internet company...as long as I have power, I can do everything from here).
I was able to get some fun in...Lindsey came up and wanted me to walk with her to the store to get some "feminine products", and I found plenty of time to dick off.
And lo and behold, a week later, it's 70-frikkin degrees...go figure. Bring it on Spring!!
Anyway, here's a couple pics:
This is fairly early in the snowstorm...I got up at 6AM...looked out the window and it was clear. So I went back to bed for another hour, then got up and got ready for work...this is what it looked like at 8AM.
This is our expedition to the store.
My apartment is the upstairs one (both windows...the left is my living room, the right is my bedroom.
And then I made us hot chocolate with hershey's syrup and steamed milk, with whipped cream on top...as you can see, she is VERY happy!
I guess it wasn't that bad a snow, I just wanted a good pelting before it got warm. We might still get more (most of our big snows seem to come in march and april, believe it or don't).
