I used to be competent at photoshop, and quite happy with the resulting product, but I don't know, maybe my hearts not in it any more? Whatever the case, I have hit a wall and even the two pieces I create a year make me cringe ( Read more... )

Dont sweat it, at least you are getting your work out there and keeping in touch with your talents even if you dont use them as much as you could. Considering what gets passed off as art these days, even moreso considering what usually ends up on offer at Swancon art shows your stuff is a worthy addition to the display. After all everyone knows many artists are not appreciated until they die.

Thanks. That was.. unexpectedly nice.
I didn't end up getting anyone to buy it for the show, but I did get to pawn it off on someone after it finished, and even got $16.60 for my troubles, with the frame.. I'm pretty sure I paid more for the frame, but meh at least it is out of my house.
