And I saw them.

Unbelievable for many reasons. This whole trip was so out-of-the-blue: I’d never, ever thought I’d be anywhere near NZ ever again, let alone in Wellington, let alone on the same day as the premiere of any movie, let alone the premiere of The HobbitAnd yet here I was on Wednesday morning (28 November). Oh my, what an unexpected and delightful Adventure for you! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Yay for finding your keys. I once lost my wallet, and it ended up being inside the pocketbook I'd already checked twice. That was the last time I ever used a wallet the exact same color as the inside of my pocketbook. :)

Thank you (and very belated thanks for your birthday wishes, all those months ago...I feel dreadful it's taken so long to acknowledge them. :( ).

NZ was wonderful, really. I'll certainly never forget my glimpse of Middle-earth.

What a wonderful opportunity you had to see them all "with your own eyes"! Despite its size, the crowd seemed to be quite orderly (and friendly).

I'm glad you found your keys. It's a pain having to get copies cut. I think we all suffer from "panic blindness" when we're looking for something in a hurry! :)

It all seems like a dream now, Maewyn. From beginning to end, it all happened so quickly. But there are bits I'll never forget.

I've now become completely OCD about the keys (and I thought I was that before!!). Check, recheck, double-check. And check again. I do believe the gremlins were hiding them...I know I checked that pocket at least twice!

Thank you for sharing! What an awesome experience. I love the video, wobble-cam or not. :) I bet the excitement level of the crowd was amazing to be there for. Sorry you have to wait until the 26th to see the movie.

It was fun, Rosie. And now the release date is almost upon us, I'm really looking forward to actually seeing the film! I've been avoiding spoilers as much as possible, but some of the trailers are just too tempting. :)
