I'll be leaving this afternoon to the countryside with Juan and Yaco. We've filled the car with tasty treats like foie-gras, Galician Cheese, champagne, Spanish ham, chocolatey Suchard and a helluva raisins -just in case Yaco decides to play with them, like he did last year

Happy New Year, dear! Hope you have a wonderful trip, filled with lovely sights, food, and great company. You probably won't get this until the new year, but so what?

There were lovely sights (nevermind the myst) and lovely food (we managed to roast a turkey as well as Monica Geller would have done!!) and company (Boyfriend and Doggie are wonderful male members of their respective species, so tall and dark and handsome and protective).

The weather was nice, too, so two days in a row we went down the river that marks the limit of Spain and Portugal and tried to fish. That is, until Doggie decided that it would be fun to be Portuguese for a whole morning.

We all liked the fireworks.
