"Interesting" may be taking it a bit too far...

I don't really write lj entries all that often, but I decided that because I have plenty of time to do so, I probably should. I don't really know if this will be a long entry or not, so we'll just have to wait and see how it goes. First, I think I'll talk about all of my classes ( Read more... )

Holy post Batman!! I just kept scrolling down and scrolling down and it didn't seem to want to end. That isn't a bad thing it was just quite the switch from your usual non-posts.
What Chem class are you taking? I'm skipping mine right now. We are supposed to be learning how to balance an equation and I learned that in my first year (out of three) of high school chemistry, so I decided not to go.
I was just wondering, do you know why The Passion didn't get any nominations? Did the 6,000 people just not vote for it, or was there another reason that it didn't get picked? I'm just curious.
Anyway, keep up the posting, although I will probably start to skim them if they stay this long. :)

Not to be redundant or anything, but "Holy comment reply Batman!" Seriously though, thanks for answering my question in such detail. I was wondering if it was the religious nature of the film that made it less likely to be voted on. And I remember hearing something somewhere from someone (quite reliable, of course) that it had been banned from some award or something because it was about Jesus. I doubted that, but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks my film major genius!!

I don't read lj's on a regular basis, but i felt reading your lj would be an appropriate form of proscastination. anyway very coincidental that i would read it the day that you posted it. anyway, i totally want to go as a big group to president's ball, maybe we can all get together and plan it. I don't know the best way of getting people to be come, or inviting people. word of mouth isn't goingto cut it, maybe i'll send out an email and request an RSVP then we cna all go together. WE were thinking of eating on campus (someone cooking...maybe brittland's place???) and then taking the bus over there. To cut money and encourage the invited party to actually show up! :) i'm totally looking forward to going, i especially want a big group in case ben can't make it for some reason. then i could still go :) Let me know your thoughts ttyl!
