Wow. I am so bowled over by the response to my icon post (it's just a couple of posts below). Thankyou so much to everyone who commented! I so want to respond to everyone who commented, but I really should be doing some work, and there's only so many times I can say "Thanks so much!" without feeling like a complete idiot. I know this probably doesn't go here, but it's the only way that I could ask you this question. How did you get your layout done? I have a free account and am just coming around the LJ community, but I wanted to add a banner at the top of my LJ and for the life of me cannot figure out how to set it up. I love you layouts, they are beautiful and pretty and very clean cut. Any tips for a newbie?

Sure! I'm so flattered that you'd want tips from me :) I'm pretty new too and it took me forever to work out how everyone was doing that. The first thing you need to do is get your layout set up using the S1 system (you might already have this, but you're probably using S2 as that one's much easier. If you're already using S1 you can skip the next section ( ... )

Can I just tell you that I love you now or would you rather have me like bowing at your feet offering you the world? Cause I can do that, well, no I can't, but thank you so much. This is great and I just fixed it. YAY! Thank you so much again. This is great. And please stop by my journal and see if I did it right. It looks right to me, but then again I had trouble adding 2+3 together for the longest time, joke, it was a joke. Anyhow, thank you again. You're great!

Hmm... the bowing at my feet does sound tempting...

Yay! I'm so glad that what I said made sense and was actually helpful :D Your journal looks fantastic! The colours are putting me in a very summery mood :)

2+3? That's 4, right?

(Hey do you mind if I friend you? 'Cause you seem awfully nice and I love your blends :) Plus I have no lj friends *sniffle* I need to get better at making friends...)
