From what I can gather, yes. I made a fake profile so I could view the forum, and the people seem to mostly be middle agers (40s and 50s) in that very conservative mentality of male dominance as the "authority." Some were women hoping to find men that agree with this, and the creator is a woman or at least presents him/herself as one on the forums.

This is getting made into a book... oh the stuff kids will write these days :)

All I can say is "Ummmm, ok".

At first it kind of read like a way for Christian folk to feel ok about liking spanking and S&M just dressed up in Biblical speak. But when I read more, I got kind of confused. Amazing what people get up to in the privacy of their homes.

Yeah, that's what I thought at first-ok, so them being alright with a bit of sadomasochism, no problemo... but then when it talked about 1) the man being who does it and 2) it being because he's the HEAD of the household, the authority, and should guide his wife with loving discipline to make her feel remorse as if he's the equivalent of a priest to her working on God's behalf to keep her way of life in line with his (not His necessarily, mind you) will... yeah, it's confusing. I know there are plenty of groups for religious people to talk about all that "dirty" stuff, but this one is just so backwards in terms of moving back eras in socialization ideas, that I could just get out a "snarf" and not a lot more!

oh yeah, while I do NOT suggest trying it out, I'm curious as to whether this would get filtered by work firewalls (heh heh can only imagine what the look on someone's face would be if they saw that trainer Anne was going to THAT site!!)
