Hee, I can relate so much. I read the first book (before I was really aware of what it was) and simply could. not. stop! Luckily I didn't have the sequels at hand so I had a moment to turn my brain back on and come to the conclusion that it was actually horrible and that I really didn't need to read the rest. Otherwise I might never have come out of that rabbit hole.

And now I want the Winchesters to check if there was a demon deal or witchcraft involved, because how else can you explain this combination of addictiveness and awfulness?

Do not be ashamed. I read all of them. That's right, all of them. The first three are disturbingly readable despite the weak characters and bad writing, but there is no excuse for Breaking Dawn.

Been there, done that (but only the movies). And now I've come to my senses and only read fanfic :)

The movies are even worse than the books. I drew the line at the movie for Breaking Dawn, so have only watched the first 3.
For a second I took that as 'I only read Twilight fanfic' and was horrified. I haven't read any serious Twilight fanfic but I can imagine the quality.
