quick question. when you say GF and vegan, do you mean Gluten free and vegan?
I ask because barley isn't gluten free.
Oats, are not in themselves a gluteny substance, but if not grown in dedicated fields or milled in dedicated mills, they end up cross contaminated.

but to be honest... this recipe made me drool.
I WAS happy with my iced mocha (dash: cinnamon, nutmeg and extra cocoa)
now, I want muffins of hot steamy goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My bad - it's labeled "Wheat Free" in the book, not "Gluten Free". Thanks for clarifying!

no problem, Wheat, Rye and barley are interesting grains.
It is the day I pray for that barley vegtable soup could possibly be on my menu again... I do so love the texture and lovliness of barley....
