I'M SORRY. I didn't mean for this to happen this way IT JUST DID. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT HAVE A BUNCH OF FEELINGS ABOUT MILEY AND NICK, OKAY? I wanted to include some sort of reference to "Before the Storm" but it didn't work out, so just be thankful for that, because I don't know if any of us would have survived. :(

DAMMIT I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M THIS EXCITED ABOUT NICK/MILEY FIC IN 2012. IT DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT.

Oh mannn I loved the part where he got so excited over "never thought our love was a story with an end" and calling Demi and KEEPING HER PHOTO IN HIS PHONE FOR MULTIPLE PHONES AUGH. And then the end and also covering Speak Now ajskhdkaljshd. WHAT HAS BECOME OF ALL OF US.

I can't believe I WROTE Nick/Miley fic in 2012, what is the world coming to?!

Calling Demi was my favorite because I WANT THEM TO BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER she is the best and they are the best forever (even though I didn't watch him on X-Factor the fact that she invited him is one of my favorite things)! Also I really like imagining Nick getting all quietly sentimental and nostalgic and I BLAME NICK JONAS FOR EVERYTHING.

HIIIIIII. This is Emma (@perfeclystill on twitter and trackthree on tumblr) and this is SO GREAT I'M GOING TO JUMP INTO AN ACTIVE VOLCANO NOW. How Nick and Demi are best friends and he always talks to her about this. How he asked Miley for permission and she told him to do it with a disclaimer. How everything is a lot and it feels like it's still 2009 but it's not WHAT IS HAPPENING.

I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT! Demi was probably my absolute favorite part of writing this, their friendship is my faaaaave. I, for one, cannot believe that I wrote this in 2012 AND IT IS NOW ONCE AGAIN SUPER RELEVANT IN 2013, like, maybe it's time for a sequel, BUT IT'S NOT SUMMER '09 IT'S SO DAMN WEIRD.
