Ok I needed a break from working on my 5pkbc story junk so I decided to check out this program
Delicious Library.
I've known about it for a while but I guess I never really understood what it did. Well I found out today that it's basically a way to catalog all the crap you've bought (books/manga, games, movies.... basically all the crap I care about spending my money on) as well as keeping track of all kinds of data on them. It even lets you keep track of who's borrowing what (good for forgetful types like me). The best part is that I can import items just by scanning the UPC code on the back using a Quicktime supported video camera which I happen to have.
Here's shot:
You see all that info in the sidebar for a vol of manga that I scanned? Yeah all that info was fetched from Amazon Japan for me automatically as soon as I scanned it. Pimp.
Yeah, it's Mac only and it costs ~$40 (I'm just trying the demo. Limited to 25 items) but if I had the cash lying around I'd totally buy this.
